Understanding Chromatographic Purity
Chromatographic purity is typically calculated from detector peak areas in a single analysis.
The value is method-dependent. Changing the column, detection wavelength, or integration rules can change the reported number.
The result applies to the submitted sample. It should not be treated as a statement about an entire manufacturing batch unless the sampling methodology supports that conclusion.
